When you are Apple ,the wealthiest company in the world and in your big mind want to ditch the supremacy of Google in your OS you build up a Maps App and block the Google one .So good so far ,only on paper I must say .The result as we know it was horrible and they even apologized for the failure of the app and said that customers should use 3rd party apps .
Two days ago Apple reintroduced Google Maps in their OS and the result : 10 million downloads in just 48 hours .I think this is a app record in all the OS (mobile because in my opinion Windows desktop system had more downloads ).
