More and more consumers turn to early adopters -mainly because for the moment companies stopped innovating and they started to focus on law suites ( see Apple vs Samsung and even HTC ) .Another reason is the price of the product ,again because now a days companies are bringing to the market at least 3-5 products a year and also they prices trend to go down.
In my opinion more and more consumers have started to adopt mobile and new digital media .As I was told during my university years we will soon be in a stage were our fridges will know that we have run out of a product and it automatically will place an order to your favorite grocer in order to be included on your shopping cart.
New Digital will also mean new ways in which we consume the news and how we pull them to our devices -smartphone,tablet etc.I mean I prefer to read the news on my smartphone when I go to work in the morning using different apps like Pulse or BBC news -tailored for my interests and search a good recipe for a dinner and cook it on my tablet during the evening.
WE are all changing and our habits started to evolve mainly because the technology has advanced ,because our salaries have started to go up (a bit or not ) and prices started to go down because the technology is now more available then ever.
